Pirates on the Prom – Penzance Prom – 12 – 7pm

Guinness World Records Attempt to regain our title as ‘LARGEST GATHERING OF PIRATES’ – 15,000 Pirates needed To Win!  All pirates must be in the designated area on Penzance Prom by 4pm to be included in the count at 4 – 4.10pm.  Entertainment on the Prom from 12-7pm.  For more details, including what to wear, please visit: Pirates on the Prom

 

Penlee Park Theatre – Tales from the Trees – 2pm

‘Tales from the Trees’ by Squashbox Theatre is a terrific tangle of puppetry, storytelling, live music and comedy, with a theme that embraces natural history, folklore and ecology.  ‘Tales from the Trees’ is 50 minutes long and suitable for children aged 5+ and their families.  For more details: Tales from the Trees.

Monday 28 August 2017:

Newlyn Fish Festival – 9am – 5pm

One of the biggest and best celebrations of the sea, seafood and fishing in the country.  Fish cookery demonstrations, fish display, crab picking demonstrations, two music stages, luggers in the harbour, trawlers racing, gigs sprinting, children’s rides, entertainment and education, lots of fabulous food to enjoy plus art & craft stalls to explore.  For more details: Newlyn Fish Festival

Penlee Park Theatre – The Princess and the Pig – 6.30pm
